TEDS are true to size, so if you are a size 11 in Nike, we expect you’d be a size 11 in Teds.
We don’t currently. We will be launching with normal sizes, but we do imagine that we will incorporate wide sizes down the line.
- Regularly Apply a Suede Protector Spray Every Few Months
- Use a water and stain repellent spray designed specifically for suede.
- Spray the loafers evenly, holding the can about 6-8 inches away to avoid soaking the material.
- Let them dry completely before wearing.
- Use a Suede Brush Regularly
- Brushing helps remove dirt and dust that can get trapped in the nap of the suede.
- Gently brush the loafers after each wear to prevent buildup and keep the material looking fresh.
- Store in a Dry, Cool Place
- Keep loafers in a breathable shoe bag or box to prevent dust accumulation.
- Store them away from direct sunlight or damp areas, as moisture and light can cause fading or warping.
- Avoid Wearing in Wet Weather
- Suede is highly sensitive to moisture, so avoid wearing loafers in the rain or snow.
- If they accidentally get wet, blot gently with a clean, dry cloth and let them air dry naturally (never use a heater).
- Quick Spot Cleaning
- For minor stains, blot the area with a clean cloth, and if needed, sprinkle a little cornstarch to absorb oils or liquids.
- Once dry, use a suede brush to gently lift the nap back to its original texture.
By taking these preventive steps, you’ll protect your suede loafers and keep them in great shape for years.
Yes, our inserts are easily removable. You simply pull them out from the back of the inner heel. On top of that, our inserts are washable, so when you need to refresh the shoe, simply take out the insert, throw them in the laundry and then easily place them back in the shoe.
Most of the TEDS can handle exposure to light rain; that said, we don’t recommend wearing the suede shoe in the rain or snow, as suede is highly sensitive to moisture. If your shoes accidentally get wet, we recommend blotting them gently with a clean, dry cloth and letting them air dry naturally (never use a heater).
